Proficient in Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, Judo and Kumdo, I began to study Hapkido at the age of eight and was awarded myfirst degree Hapkido black belt at fifteen. Then, after high school, I studied martial arts at the prestigious Yong-In University in Seoul, Korea.

My dojang (korean for "gymnasium") is part of MMA, an Illinois network of Hapkido and Taekwondo schools. It is affiliated to the Korea Hapkido Federation, the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and the World Tae Kwon Do headquarters ("Kukkiwon").
Martial arts training is a way of life, it is my way of life and it is very satisfying for me to share this with others. When one respects oneself, one respects the community. Lessons learned in pursuing martial arts can inspire others to excel in other important life area such as family, school, work, and their community in addition to defending themselves through practical self-defense.
Please stop by and see for yourself why we are one of the most successful martial arts school in Chicago.
